| Description: | Nachdem sie Ton geholt und aufbereitet hat, tšpfert eine Frau in Spiralwulsttechnik eine Sagobreischale. Nach zwei Tagen glŠttet ihr Ehemann die GefŠ§oberflŠche und ritzt Muster ein. Nach dem Brennen im Brennhaufen bemalt er die Schale mit roter, gelber und wei§er Farbe.The film shows how a clay dish is being made starting with the digging of the raw material and following up the process to the firing and painting. A woman builds up the pot using a coiling technique, without any tools other than her hands. To decorate it her husband uses a cutting and scratching technique which differs from genuine chip-carving. The pot is fired in an open fire (bonfire). Subsequently the husband paints the pattern of the conical dish with earth pigments. |
