Description:A film taken by Edward Alfred Briggs, an assistant professor and reader in zoology at Sydney University 1933-1945. The film could relate to one or both expeditions he made to New Guinea: 25 June-12 July, 1924, and 19 December 1925-11 February 1926. The film contains scenes of the making of fish baskets, dancing, making food, making string baskets, natives with totem poles and decorations, making fire, and implements such as stone axes.
