Description: | This video presents two dramatized stories from the point of view of victims who participate in family group conferences. The two stories address the issues surrounding a young girl caught stealing by a shopkeeper, and an older couple who must face the young man who committed a crime against them. The video follows the shopkeeper and the couple through the family group conference process -- from preparation, to the conference itself, to the outcomes of the plan. The video focuses on the victim's rights in the process, and was made to help victims prepare for and participate in the family group conference process. |
