Salap verziert einen Ohrpflock, indem er mit dem Schneidezahn eines Nagetieres Verzierungen in den Bambus kratzt. Die Verzierungen bestreicht er mit Hautfett, um die Musterung hervortreten zu lassen. Er steckt den Ohrpflock in sein linkes OhrlŠppchen. WŠhrend er arbeitet, spielt ein anderer Mann auf einer Maultrommel.Several boys and men are playing in front of the men's house in Malingdam/Imarin. Salap is decorating an ear peg by scratching decorations in the bamboo with a rodent incisor. He smears dermal fat into the decorations so that the pattern will stand out. He sticks the ear peg into his left ear lobe. While he is working, another man is playing a Jew's harp. |
