Zuerst werden die BrŸckenkšpfe errichtet, dann die BaumstŠmme aufgelegt und mit Fasermaterial miteinander verbunden. Danach werden die Laufstege aufgebunden sowie die GelŠnder aus langen, biegsamen Stangen hergestellt. WŠhrend der Gemeinschaftsarbeit wird auch ein Erdofen errichtet.Men and boys from Mailal build two approximately 12-15- and 15-18-m-long wooden bridges over the Malingkele River. These bridges will connect their village with Imde. To begin with the bridge heads are erected; then the tree trunks are put on and tied together with fibrous material. Subsequently, the catwalks tied on and the railings, which are made of long, flexible poles, are made. During this co-operative effort, a earthen oven is erected. |
