Guide for STEM opportunities for women and minorities

The U.S. Department of Education has forecasted that STEM-related occupations will grow by as much as 60% by 2020. While the field has long been underrepresented by women and minorities, we believe now is an excellent time to help change that. That’s why we’ve created a comprehensive guide for STEM opportunities for women and minorities.

This useful site outlines stats of participation and projected growth in various fields as well as provides strategies for closing the diversity gap. Additionally, the website lists STEM support for college students and scholarships for women and underrepresented minorities.

  • Highlight academic support for women and minorities. Includes scholarships dedicated specifically to women and minorities, as well as cover national societies dedicated to supporting them.
  • Help students see the value of pursuing a degree in STEM. The guide covers the economic outlook for these fields and the benefits of diversity in STEM.
