Applicants must meet the following:

Priority Consideration will be given to:

  • Non-traditional students (including student parents),
  • First-generation college students,
  • Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) majors, and
  • STEM Education / Teaching majors.


Additionally, awardees of the scholarship will receive mentorship provided through established Native Hawaiian support programs at the students home campus and are required to attend a scholarship orientation, academic advising, and other professional development activities which are aimed at helping reinforce their educational and career pathway.
