You can enable authentication for an individual page to be behind the UH Login. Please note that it will have the following limitations:
- Pages protected behind the UH Login will not appear in the search and will not have analytics
- Attachments (ex. images, PDFs) on the page will not be protected
- This option can only be tested within a dev or live site published from Cascade. It will not work in Cascade directly.
If you would like to use this option, please email csocweb@hawaii.edu. We will handle registering your URL with CAS.
After contacting csocweb@hawaii.edu, follow these steps in your Cascade site:
- Go to your Site Setup block and click Edit at the top right corner.
- Go to the Miscellaneous group and click "Yes" for "Add Single Page Authentication"
- Select whether to use Prod CAS or Test CAS: Use Prod CAS for live sites. Test CAS should only be used for dev sites / for testing UH Login.
- Groupings (optional): Optionally add any groupings to restrict the login to. If adding multiple groupings, separate them by comma, no space.
- Not Authorized Link: Enter a link to redirect users to if they fail the login (ex. grouping is added and user is not part of the grouping)
- See Adding Links
- Click Preview Draft > Submit.
You can then enable authentication on a page-by-page basis: Creating a New Standard Page (Advanced Options)
