Banner (Home Page)

The home page banner can add great visuality to your homepage. Each banner slide needs headline text as the first slide's text will be used as an H1 element.

Edit your home page.
In the "Add Banner" field, select "Yes"
In the Banner group:
1. Banner Height: Specify the height of the banner (include "px")
2. Add Slides:
  1. Slide Style: Select the type of text content to display in the slide
  2. Type: Select whether the slide contains an image or a video
    1. Video:
      1. Video Source: Select the video source
        
        Internal: Choose the video file
        
        Vimeo/YouTube: Input the video URL
  3. Image: Select an image for the slide
  4. Alternative Text: Add alternative text for the image
  5. Overlay Text: Enter text to show over the image/video. Recommended to have 80 max characters for a 500px banner
  6. Overlay Options:
    1. Add Overlay Text Shadow: Select "Yes" to add a drop shadow behind the overlay text
    2. (Title + Optional CTA option only) Overlay Text Horizontal Alignment: Select how the text should align horizontally
    3. (Title + Optional CTA option only) Overlay Text Vertical Alignment: Select how the text should align vertically
    4. (Title + Optional CTA option only) Text Overlay Background: Select whether the overlay should have a transparent or gradient background behind the text
    5. Overlay Background Color: Select the color of the overlay
  7. Add Call to Action button: Select "Yes" to add a call to action button
    1. Button Type: Select the type of button
    2. Label: Add a label to the button
    3. Link: Add a link
3. Add slides by clicking the “+” icon at the top right corner, delete slides by clicking the “x” icon at the top right corner, and use the navigation arrows or drag the slides to rearrange their order.
Click Preview Draft > Submit.
