Sub-Navigation (Standard Page)

Add a Sub Navigation

A sub navigation is great to include way to include links to related pages. Note that any row types with full-width layouts (ex. Cards, Video, etc.) will convert to a full-width layout to preserve its design. 

  1. Edit a Standard Page
  2. In the "Regions" field, check "Sub Navigation"
  3. In the "Sub Navigation" group:
    1. Choose how to pull sub-navigation links: Select "Manual" to setup the side navigation just for that page. Select "Block" to reuse a side navigation block amongst multiple pages.
    2. Manual:
      1. Sub Navigation Position: Select whether the sub navigation should appear at the top or side of the page. Please note that due to its design, the top navigation does not have "Child Links" as an option.
      2. Link*: Add the main link
      3. (Only if the Sub Navigation Position is "Side") Add Child Links: Select "Yes" to add child links under the main link
        1. Additional Links*: Add links
    3. Block: Select the Sub Navigation Block
      1. Create a Sub Navigation Block
  4. Click Preview Draft > Submit

* For internal links, you can add an anchor to link to a specific section of the page. Add the anchor name to the "anchor" field.

Create a Sub Navigation Block

  1. Click Add Content at the top.
  2. Click Block > Sub Navigation
  3. XHTML/Data Definition Block Name: Enter a name for your Sub Navigation
  4. In the Sub Navigation group:
    1. Sub Navigation Position: Select whether the sub navigation should appear at the top or side of the page. Please note that due to its design, the top navigation does not have "Child Links" as an option.
    2. Link: Add the main link
    3. (Only if the Sub Navigation Position is "Side") Add Child Links: Select "Yes" to add child links under the main link
      1. Additional Links: Add links
  5. Click Preview Draft > Submit
