Publishing

First Time Publishing

The first time that you publish a page to your server, you will need to publish a few elements so the page shows up properly. For your convenience, a publish set has been setup for this purpose.

  1. Go to Manage Site
  2. Click on Publish Sets
  3. Click on First Time Publishing
  4. Click Publish at the top right corner

Header and Footer

Any updates made to the Site Setup block need additional publishing for it to show on the live site

  1. Go to Manage Site at the top
  2. Click on Publish Sets
  3. Click on Header and Footer
  4. Click Publish at the top right corner

Publish Individual Pages

  1. Go to the desired page to publish
  2. Click Publish at the top
  3. Keep "PHP" checked as the output
  4. Click Publish at the top right corner

Scheduled Publishing

  1. Go to the desired page to publish
  2. Click Publish at the top
  3. In Optionally Publish Later, select the time to publish
  4. Select the desired Output
    1. Uncheck “PHP” if you are publishing to the dev site
  5. Click Publish at the top right corner

Publish Sets

Publish sets are useful to publish a group of pages and publish pages automatically on a scheduled basis.

  1. Click “Manage Site” at the top.
  2. Click “Publish Sets” in the left-hand sidebar.
  3. Click “Add” > Publish Set at the top right corner.
  4. Enter information for the publish set:
  5. (optional) If you would like to publish these assets automatically, click Scheduled Publishing at the top
  6. Click Submit at the top right corner

Publishing to a site with HTTP Authentication

If your site has HTTP Authentication (ex. dev site with username and password to view), please enable these settings for your header and footer to appear properly:

  1. Go to your Site Setup block.
  2. Click Edit at the top right corner.
  3. Go to the Miscellaneous section.
  4. In "Publishing to a site with HTTP authentication?" select "Yes"
  5. Enter your username in the "Username" field
  6. Enter your password in the "Password field
  7. Click Preview Draft > Submit at the top right corner
