Regents Policy RP 5.218, Implementation of Policy Effective Date: Prior Dates Amended: Oct. 31, 2014 (recodified) Review Date: August 2018 I. Purpose
To set forth policy regarding approval authority of the implementation of
policy on Academic Affairs. II. Definitions
No policy specific or unique definitions apply.
III. Board of Regents Policy
A. The president is delegated the responsibility to promulgate new and/or revised executive or administrative policies that carry out the intent of this policy, ensuring for full consultation with campus and faculty governance and where appropriate, the exclusive representative of the faculty and staff.
IV. Delegation of Authority
The president is delegated the responsibility to promulgate new and/or revised executive or administrative policies that carry out the intent of this policy. See RP 5.218(A).
