I. Purpose

To set forth policy regarding travel requests.

II. Definitions

No policy specific or unique definitions apply.

III. Board of Regents Policy

    A. The president or his/her designees are delegated the authority to approve on behalf of the board all travel requests. The president shall establish policies and procedures in implementing this delegation and conditions and criteria for the approval of travel. The president shall provide such travel reports as may be requested by the board. The president or his/her designees are to insure that all state and federal laws, rules, regulations and policies are adhered to and that adequate records are maintained for all travel.

IV. Delegation of Authority

    A. The president or his/her designees are delegated the authority to approve on behalf of the board all travel requests. See RP 8.208(A).
