List of Potential Candidates Delivered to Governor
On February 28, 2020, the Council delivered to Governor David Ige's office a list of candidates for one Maui County seat and one Student seat on the University of Hawaiʻi Board of Regents.
A list of three Maui County candidates and four student candidates was provided, from which two may be nominated by the governor for appointment to the BOR effective July 1, 2020, with consent of the Hawaiʻi State Senate.
