The Animal Welfare Program of the Office of Research Compliance is pleased and very proud of the recently announced accomplishment of Caryn Hashimoto who passed the Certified Professional IACUC Administrator (CPIA) examination in October 2016.

The credential affirms to research institutions, the public, and the animal research community that holders of CPIA are highly qualified and motivated professionals who perform their duties in accordance to regulations and policies, prevailing ethical codes, exhibit considerable expertise of animal care and use programs, and apply advanced knowledge of IACUC administration in their work.
