The Office of Research Compliance (ORC) administratively supports the compliance oversight activities of the Human Studies Program, Animal Welfare Program, Biosafety Program, Research Integrity Program, and Animal Veterinary Services for institutions in the UH System.
For the University of Hawaii (UH) to conduct research and provide instruction to students, and for the system's institutions to receive federal awards, contracts, and government subsidies, UH is required to comply with federal agency assurances and licenses of registration.
