SLS Professor, Dr. Theres Grüter was the invited speaker at The Japan Second Language Association’s 25th annual international conference! In her talk titled “Why being surprised is a good thing: Prediction error as a form of negative evidence in language learning” she explores the role of prediction error as a mechanism for second language learning!
