Gregory Chun

Greg is an Associate Specialist at the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa and a member of the Hui ‘Āina Momona cluster. In this role he provides consultation and technical assistance in community-engagement, particularly as it relates to bridging complex scientific research, land development, resource management, education, economic development, and policy with culture and community. His current projects address groundwater sustainability, ecosystem preservation, and land use. Greg is also President of Awa Kele LLC, a consulting firm specializing in community engagement, sustainable development, and organizational improvement. His professional experience spans ranching, land development, energy, insurance, historic preservation, and health care.
