Interim Measures

Interim measures are the steps the University deems necessary to appropriately respond to allegations of sexual misconduct, protect students’ rights, and keep members of the campus community safe from further harm. These measures are available regardless of whether a reporting party seeks formal resolution or makes a crime report.

Measures include, but are not limited to: Issuing interim suspensions/leaves pending the outcome of an investigation; Referring to counseling and health services; Referring to the Employee Assistance Program (EAP); Providing education to the community; Altering work arrangements for employees or class schedules for students; Providing campus escorts; Providing transportation assistance; Implementing limitations on contact between the parties; Offering adjustments to academic deadlines, course schedules, etc.
