Sexual Assault

Sexual Assault is the act of committing unwanted physical contact of a sexual nature with an intimate body part, whether by an acquaintance or by a stranger. Intimate body parts include breasts, buttocks, groin, or genitals, or mouth.  Such contact is unwanted when it occurs without the Consent of at least one of the individuals or when at least one individual is incapacitated or otherwise incapable of giving Consent.

Sexual assault is prohibited conduct under the University’s Executive Policy 1.204 on Sex Discrimination and Gender-Based Violence.
