thrift shop

The last day of Fall Semester classes is Thursday, December 12th. The Thrift Shop will close during the interim, reopening the first week of Spring Semester classes. We will be in reorganizing, clearing and cleaning during that time. If you wish to drop off donations, leave us a message and we will try to accommodate your schedules. We will be back Tuesday, January 14th. Thank you for your invaluable support!

This Thursday, December 12th, we will honor our Last Thursday Half-Price Sale.

We are also extending our clothing $2 sale!
(This excludes Aloha shirts and other white-tagged clothing.)
$2 clothing will not qualify for half-price, but half-price will be honored on other store items.

Please help us fulfill our mission to award University system grants.
We greatly appreciate your support!

Thrift Shop hours are:

  • Tuesday 11am - 2pm
  • Wednesday 11am - 2pm
  • Thursday 11am - 2pm
  • Last Sunday of the Month 11am - 2pm

Our Half-Price Sale days are held on the last Sunday and Thursday of each month, 11am - 2pm.

We are accepting donations during operating hours, to discourage theft. Thank you for your continued support.

Generated revenues support projects throughout the UH System. The thrift shop has moved to the previous UH Federal Credit Union building, which is across the street from the thrift shop's former location. Driving directions: Follow East-West Road past Maile Way until the road's end. Take a left and keep driving until you see a sign that says "Thrift Shop."

Thank you!

  • Parking validation is not currently available. Two available marked Thrift Shop parking spaces.  Free parking Sunday.
  • Donations of lightly used men's and women's clothing, housewares, kitchenware, appliances, electronics, office supplies, small furniture, books are welcome.
    • Receipt given for items dropped off during shop hours.
  • The UH Women’s Campus Club Thrift Shop opened in 1971 as an ongoing project to raise funds to service the university community, primarily, at first, to raise funds for the Child Care Center on campus for children of students, evolving to its current mission of raising money for University system grants (see Grant Program). Facilities Management found space in the Credit Union, before relocating the shop to its present location. The Grand Opening was October 18, 1971. This year we celebrate 46 years and, as of 2001, $250,000 awarded in grants. We estimate that that figure has doubled in the 16 years since then.
  • WCC members volunteer to staff the shop. Thank you for your generous spirit and for supporting our vision over the years.
