Mānoa Campus, Campus Center Mall Add to Calendar

The Health Promotion Office of University Health Services-Manoa is sponsoring the 2012 Condom Fair, on Tuesday, February 14th from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the University of Hawaii Campus Center Mall.

The Condom Fair 2012 is designed to educate students about healthy relationships in a fun and relaxed atmosphere. The purpose of the Condom Fair is to promote a healthier lifestyle, through the appropriate and consistent use of condoms, healthy sexual decision-making, and good communication.

The Condom Fair is not meant to promote sexual activity; however for students who do choose to be sexually active, condoms are the safest way to protect against sexually transmitted infections and unintended pregnancies.

This year, community participants in Condom Fair 2012 include Planned Parenthood, Life Foundation, Hawaii Youth Coalition, Waikiki Health Center, Blood Bank of Hawaii, UHM Women’s Center/Pau Violence, Manoa Alcohol Project, The UHM LGBT Center, UHM Counseling & Development Center, The National Bone Marrow Registry, UHM Public Health Hui Ola Pono, American Cancer Society Relay For Life, UHM Financial Literacy. Condom Fair 2012 will offer educational games and activities such as Pin the Condom on Jack, along with prizes and giveaways such as condom lollipops, condom roses and other fun Valentine’s Day items.
