Learning with Librarians

University of Hawai‘i at Manoa librarian Violet Harada and alumni Carolyn Kirio, and Sandra Yamamoto published Collaborating for Project-Based Learning in Grades 9–12.

The book is based on projects at Kapolei High School in Hawai‘i, where librarians work in collaborative teams with teachers, helping to shape projects, develop lessons for information retrieval and use, and design ways to assess student learning. The authors include links to content standards, instructional plans and assessment tools across a range of subjects.
