Global Koreans: Perspectives on Korea's Role on the Global Stage

January 13, 2014, marks the 111th anniversary of the beginning of Korean immigration to Hawaii. To mark the event, the Center for Korean Studies and the Korean-American Club present a symposium focusing on relations between Koreans and Americans. Speakers include three senior Korean journalists--Insun Kang of Choson ilbo, Chanho Kang of Jungang ilbo, and Yong Kirl Han of Segye Times--and Duk Hee Lee Murabayashi, a historian of the Korean experience in Hawaii.
