I believe that Tobias' strength as a teacher is his ability to relate to his students. Another strength is that he understands the attention span that many of us have is not vey long.

He is a very good teacher, but also
could be a good friend. I wish to
have him as a best friend.
He is a very patient teacher and takes
small steps to explain difficult information,
and he is very open to questions from
students.

15. How did the instructor show concern for students? |
||||||||||||||||||
|
Tobias expresses concern for his students by sending them emails if they haven't been attending class, or if they have assignments missing. He also is willing to stop for a second after class to make sure a student is okay out of school if they are not doing as well as he expects them to.
notification if students are missing assignments or are not doing well in class, always checks if content is being absorbed during class and accepts questions at any time
He gives you clear instructions for
every chapter and makes sure that
all students understand.
He always leaves room for questions and
does his best for the whole class to
understand the topic.
Taking the time during his lecture to
periodically open it up to the class for further
questioning regarding the concepts covered.

I would absolutely recommend Tobias to other students because, he teaches an interesting topic and makes it relatable to daily lives as citizens of Hawaii.

class itself is very fun to learn.

for students who are interested in the
subject but never learned about it before.

One of my favorite classes Iâ??ve taken!
Learned a lot. Got me excited to take the rest
of the OCN classes
If thereâ??s a way to fit it into exsisting content,
maybe talking about beached whales and
dolphins.
