Aloha UH students, faculty and staff,

Please help keep you and our University of Hawaiʻi campuses safe! Our new daily check-in app for students and employees, LumiSight UH, is now available for use, and required for everyone who has to come onto a UH campus. It is an easy and quick way to receive a daily check of your health status and can be downloaded for free on the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store. Access is also available on the web at uh.campus.lumisight.com for those without access to a smartphone or tablet, or those who prefer not to download the mobile app.

Your UH Username is used to access the mobile app and the web app, including the use of Multi-Factor Authentication (if enabled on your UH account). When you initially register, you will be asked a few questions to set up your profile. These may be changed at any time after your initial profile setup is complete. These questions include your campus affiliation, and whether you are studying or working solely online (answering yes will suppress the daily reminders).

Checking in daily with the LumiSight UH app is simple and will take less than 30 seconds. Review the list of symptoms and possible exposure to COVID-19 in the app, answer "yes" or "no," and the app will indicate if you are cleared to come to campus.

LumiSight UH was developed by DataHouse, and is operated as a service to the UH community. Daily health checks, as provided by LumiSight, are strongly recommended by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and are an integral part of our institutional strategy and efforts to bolster and encourage safe behavior.

Information collected by LumiSight UH is restricted to the campus COVID-19 response leads, and those responsible for campus COVID-19 programs that support our students and health services operations.

Additional information about the LumiSight UH app can be found at the ITS COVID-19 resource page. Questions about the LumiSight UH app can be submitted via this web form.

Be safe!

Garret Yoshimi
UH Vice President for Information Technology/Chief Information Officer
