ITS has site-licensed McAfee AntiSpyware Enterprise 8.7 (MASE 8.7) software for UH faculty and staff. MASE 8.7 detects and takes action on potentially unwanted spyware and cookies.
MASE 8.7 replaces Webroot Spy Sweeper. UH software licenses for Webroot Spy Sweeper expires on November 1, 2010. You must uninstall Spy Sweeper from all UH computers before this date. See ITS cancellation notice at http://www.hawaii.edu/technews/notice.php?id=141360 MASE 8.7 is an add-on module to McAfee VirusScan Enterprise 8.7 (VSE 8.7). It is not compatible with VSE 8.5. UH faculty and staff may install MASE 8.7 for their UH-owned Windows computers (desktops and laptops), including computer labs on campus, and home computers (one license only). The software is available for download at http://www.hawaii.edu/software. Login with your UH username and password.
