Lecture: "Folk Taxonomy: Getting to Know Hawaiian Plants"

"Folk Taxonomy: Getting to Know Hawaiian Plants" is a lecture presented by Isabella Abbott, professor emeritus, in conjunction with the exhibition "Making Connections: Treasures from the University of Hawai'i Library." Abbott continues to play an important role in the revival of Hawaiian culture with her knowledge and protection of traditional plants. She is a world renown expert on Hawaiian marine algae.
