Shrekology: The History of an Ogre

A presentation by Tom Hester about the character design process of the award-winning film, "Shrek".
Hester has designed and sculpted for the Film Industry for over 25 years. He was the lead character designer for the animated feature film, "Shrek", "Shrek2" and "Shrek the Third".
In addition to the Shrek films, Tom worked on "An American Werewolf in London" and "Harry and The Hendersons" (both Oscar winners) and "Greystoke: The Legend of Tarzan", and "Gorillas in the Mist" (both Oscar nominees). Other films that he has worked on include: "Lorenzo's Oil", "Cocoon", "I Am Legend", "Sleepwalkers" and "Gremlins 2: The New Batch."
