H1N1 Prevention

Preventing a world-wide H1N1 epidemic is of interest to everyone. Dr. Linda Golden from the University of Texas at Austin will present her research on prevention and treatment of this disease. using insights from consumer behavior research and economic psychology to the problem of prevention of the spread of the H1N1 virus. Dr. Golden's research approaches the issue of health care decision-making for prevention or cure as a consumptive behavior decision, drawing on consumer behavior and economic psychology constructs. This research compares seven different countries, the USA, England, Canada, Australia, Hong Kong, India, and Mexico.
