UH's license agreement with Trellix (formerly known as McAfee) will end on 9/15. As such, ITS advises that all users with Trellix installed on their personal devices should uninstall Trellix before 9/15.

 

For personal devices, ITS is recommending you use your operating system's built-in anti-virus/anti-malware solution: Windows Defender for Windows devices and XProtect for macOS devices. Additionally, ITS also recommends reviewing the ITS Infosec Personal Security Checklist for resources and tips on how to better secure your devices and data.
