Par for the Course, MFA thesis exhibit-Robert Reed

October 9, 2011 - October 21, 2011
Mānoa Campus, Art Building, Commons Gallery Add to Calendar

In his first solo exhibition, artist Robert Reed invites you to explore the traps of American domesticity through an interactive game of miniature golf. Constructed from discarded household appliances, Reed’s fabricated golf course transforms the gallery into an elaborate artificial environment. Players are challenged to explore traditional family values by attempting “par” or “normalcy” through a false sense of reality. The opening reception will be held on Sunday, October 9 from 3:00 - 5:00 p.m.
