This course uses Web-based materials and in-class exercises to introduce the fundamental concepts of GIS and the major functionality contained in ArcGIS software from ESRI. It also covers how to download GIS data from the City and County of Honolulu and the State of Hawai`i and how to combine that data with your own GIS data.
