Ignite Green Ideas

December 2, 1:30pm - 3:00pm
Mānoa Campus, Online Add to Calendar

Ignite Green Ideas is the culminating event of the Green Ideas simulation for professional Korean language, a project supported by the CLT. As part of the simulation, Korean Language Flagship students apply for jobs in a fictitious company (Green Ideas, Inc.) and participate in a real-life like hiring process, which includes a formal job interview in the target language. Once hired, new employees are expected to go through an onboarding experience required by the company. The expectation is for all employees to improve their public speaking skills. After a semester of work, employees (students) participate in Ignite Green Ideas, a public speech competition. At this event, they will share their passion and vision about sustainable development as a global endeavor.
