Justice Edward H. Nakamura Teach-in

A panel discussion to celebrate the life and public interest work of Justice Edward H. Nakamura. Inspired by the book "I Respectfully Dissent," by Tom Coffman. Justice Nakamura was a giant and this panel is meant to correct an educational oversight. Panelists will include author Tom Coffman who wrote "I Respectfully Dissent: A Biography of Edward H. Nakamura," Kauai Council Member Nadine Nakamura, attorney and former coworker Lowell Chun-Hoon, and Access to Justice Commission chair Dan Foley, among others. The Leni Marin Scholarship will also be awarded at this event. (Due to popular demand, this event has been moved from CR3 to the larger classroom next door - CR2.)
