If you are a first-time mentor or committee member for an Honors student, we invite you the Honors Program's thesis advisor orientation session. At this session, we'll go over the duties, responsibilities, challenges and rewards of mentoring an Honors student, as well as give you some insight into how we advise them and what resources we have as a program to support our students and their independent research/creative work.

Sessions will be held at the UH Manoa Honors Program lounge in Sinclair library (the first floor commons area in the back) on: Tuesday September 1 at 2-3 p.m. Wednesday September 2 at 12:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m.

*If you are unable to make either session but are interested in finding out more, I am happy to meet with you personally or over the phone to go over any questions or concerns you have. Please also feel free to contact me via email if that is more convenient.
