UH plays a critical role in educating the workforce Hawaiʻi needs. UH understands that Hawaiʻi must diversify our economy and prepare the workforce to step into existing and emerging roles in agriculture, sustainable food systems, technology, information technology, and other sectors, while also contributing to the education of next-generation professionals in the public and non-profit sectors.
