What to do if you are missing a course

"When I go to my Laulima account, I don't see my courses in the blue tabs." Sometimes courses do not appear in the blue tabs. Below are some ways to check for your courses.

*Note: By default Laulima courses get published (made viewable to students) approximately one week before the general semester starts. Also Fall semester courses will be unpublished (made inaccessible to students) a week before the Spring semester begins while Spring courses are unpublished a week before the Fall semester starts, while Summer courses will be unpublished about a week into the Fall semester. Instructors can publish or unpublish courses outside of these timeframes.

"My Active Sites" tab

(I've checked "My Active Sites" but still do not see my course.)

If you have the "My Active Sites" tab, click on it to see all the available sites in your account. The "My Active Sites" tab only appears if you have more sites than the amount set to be displayed in the navigation bar. Usually if you do not have more than four sites, the "My Active Sites" tab will NOT appear.

The "My Active Sites" tab will display all the courses that are available. If you see the course on the "My Active Sites" menu, click on the title to enter the site.

If you do not see your missing course appear in the "My Active Sites" tab, you can also check for your course(s) using the MyTools in MyUH.

MyTools in MyUH

Go to MyUH and login using your UH username and associated password.

After you are logged in to MyUH, click on the "MyTools" tab.

You should then see the "MyLaulima" area which shows you the list of courses you have in your Laulima account for the current semester.

If you see the course(s) you are missing listed in your MyLaulima area with a (U) next to the title, this means that the course is in your account but is currently unpublished. If the course is unpublished, it is not available for student access. If this is the case, you may want to contact your instructor about accessing the course.

If you have followed these steps but still do not see your courses, please submit a "Request Assistance" form to the Laulima Support Team.
