Bookstore Holiday Sale Preview Event

Ho-Ho-Ho-My! We’re dressed in holiday style! UH Manoa Faculty & Staff are invited to the UH Manoa Bookstore on Wednesday, November 16, 4 – 7pm for its Holiday Sale Preview Event. UHM faculty and staff will get a first-look at new holiday gift items and apparel specially-brought in for the holiday season and get ‘first dibs’ on items that are perfect for gift-giving. There will also be items only available during the event and not available at any other time. Bookstore merchandise will be marked-down up to 50% off and there will also be a blow-out on clearance items.

The event will also kick-off the Bookstore’s “Ugly Sweater Decorating Contest” which will be displayed in our main entrance window for the UHM community to decide on their favorite until Christmas Eve. Additional discounts will be given for faculty and staff who come dressed in an UGLY Christmas sweater and Christmas colors as well as for those that follow the UHM Bookstore social media and post their favorite finds! To add to the festivities, Lee Cataluna will do a reading from her new book, Ordinary Ohana. Lee and the book’s illustrator, Cheyne Gallarde, will be available for book-signings as well. There will also be food samplings and demonstrations. It’ll be the perfect way to kick-off the holiday season.
