Mālama ʻĀina Day at Hoʻoulu ʻĀina

March 10, 7:30am - 1:00pm
Honolulu Campus, Meet at the Kokea Street Parking Lot at HonCC by 7:30 am. Will be leaving promptly at 7:45 am.

These service-learning activities are open to all Honolulu Community College students and faculty to provide hands-on opportunities to learn more about the Hawaiian culture and traditional sustainability practices.

Ho'oulu 'Ä€ina addresses the health needs of Kalihi Valley by strengthening the connection between people and land. Through four interwoven program areas, the community comes together to create a 100 acre upland resource of forest, food, knowledge, spirituality, and health activity. As we restore this land to health and productivity, we learn that healing is reciprocal.
