Celebrating International Women’s day
March 8, 3:30pm - 5:30pmMānoa Campus, Moore 119

On Wednesday, March 8, 3:30 - 5:30 the Russian Club is celebrating International Women's Day. Our special guests are Moscow based artists Viktoria Naraxsa and Masha Kechaeva. Viktoria is a theater director who studied at Saint Petersburg Academy of Theatre Arts and has choreographed Pussy Riot's performance "Chaika". Masha is a costume and set designer for theater, including Moscow theaters Gogol Center, Theater of Nations and Meyerhold Center. They will introduce themselves, and share photos and videos of their past work. Viktoria would like to share her work lineage, past projects she has worked on, and do a couple of basic physical exercise demonstrations with members who would like to try.
Please join us on Wed, March 8 at 3:30 pm, 119 Moore Hall. All levels of Russian are welcome (including those who don't speak Russian at all)!
