This presentation on the basics of the GI Bill is geared to MÄnoa faculty & staff, specifically those who advise student veterans.
The Post 9/11 GI Bill was passed in 2008 and is currently the most utilized VA education benefit. Many students using the post 9/11 GI Bill do not understand how the benefit works, which could lead them to be frustrated with VA certifying officials, academic advisors, their university, and the Department of Veteran Affairs. Understanding how the benefit works will save time, money, and unnecessary stress.
