November 8, 12:00pm - 1:30pm
Mānoa Campus, AgSci 219 Add to Calendar

We are pleased to invite everyone to the November Distinguished Speaker Luncheon on Thursday, November from 12:00-1:30pm (AgSci 219). Our topic for our last luncheon of Fall 2018 will be: "Mediation, conflict resolution, and ethics: What to do during difficult situations during your academic career".

We will be joined by Dr. Kristin Pauker (Associate Professor, Dept. of Psychology) and Amrita Mallik (Director, Campus Climate Initiatives) who will discuss techniques for mediating conflicts, ways to deal with academic and interpersonal issues in a campus setting, and will give some insight into why these conflicts happen.

All genders welcome! A catered lunch will be provided to the first 25 attendees who reserve their spots, so RSVP today! Please send all questions or comments regarding dietary restrictions to hawaii@gwis.org. All are welcome to join and bring their own "brown bag" lunch.

The Fall 2018 GWIS Luncheon Series was made possible by generous support from the UH Manoa Student Activity Program Fee Board (SAPFB).
