Building a Dossier: How to Speak to Audiences Beyond Your Department

July 12, 11:30am - 12:45pm
Mānoa Campus, Kuykendall 106 Events Room Add to Calendar

What makes a strong dossier? How do you speak to an audience of scholars with (possibly) limited knowledge of your field? What kinds of documentation do you include? Have you included too much or too little detail? How do you demonstrate you meet the Manoa criteria for Tenure and Promotion? This presentation is about the details of the dossier and how they are read and what they look like from the institutional perspective.

Plan to attend if you are one of the following:

  • Junior faculty working on a dossier with plans to submit
  • New faculty wanting orientation to the dossier process
  • Associate faculty considering full rank

Presented by:

  • Laura Lyons, Interim Associate Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs
  • Beverly McCreary, Assistant Vice Chancellor for Academic Personnel
