Waikiki Parc Features Theresa Marie Heinrich
January 8, 2015 - March 27, 2015Parc Promenade Gallery, Waikiki Parc Hotel, 2233 Helumoa Road, Waikiki
Theresa Marie Heinrich’s ceramic and mixed media sculptures are highlighted as part of an expanded arts partnership of the University of Hawai‘i at MÄnoa, the Halekulani and its sister hotel, the Waikiki Parc.
“My work is a celebration of the maximal, the baroque, and the obsessive. In my practice I embrace the present, the void, the moment between our thoughts and our feelings. Calculated to elicit unexpected results, my processes imbue each work with meaning,†states Heinrich.
An imminent graduate of the UHM Department of Art and Art History, Theresa Marie Heinrich expects to receive a BFA degree in May, 2015.
Reception: Thursday, January 8. 6:00-8:00 p.m.
