UH West Oʻahu Distinguished Visiting Scholar, Dr. Beverly Singer, will discuss her work advocating for indigenous perspectives and stories to be told in film and in academia, screen a film, and answer questions on Tuesday, September 13, from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. in the Multi-purpose Room at UHWO. All UH West Oʻahu students, faculty, staff and the community are encouraged to attend. Light refreshments will be served following the presentation.
