Kids' Fall Nature Day Camp

October 10, 2016 - October 14, 2016
Mānoa Campus, Lyon Arboretum, 3860 Manoa Road, Honolulu, HI 96822

Join Lyon Arboretum for a week of learning, exploring and adventure in the Mānoa rainforest! Our STREAM theme (science, technology, Relationships, engineering, Art, and math) will focus on saving and protecting Hawaiʻi’s endangered species for our future. We will also learn about organic gardening, Hawaiian cultural protocol, build some simple bamboo shelters, help build a Hawaiian canoe, hike our mountain trails, and explore our waterfall and stream. Kumu Wes Sen will teach the children how to make and dye Kapa cloth using plants from our Children’s Garden! It promises to be a week of fun-filled learning that your child will always remember!

For children ages 6-12 years old

Camp runs daily from 8:30am-2:30pm at Lyon Arboretum, October 10th-14th 2016.

Camp Cost: $200/week; or $50/day if less than 5 days
