Mānoa Campus, Campus Center 203E
We are pleased to invite you to the Graduate Women in Science (GWIS) December Distinguished Speaker Luncheon on Monday, December 5 from 12-1:30pm in CC203E We will be joined by Dr. Rosie Alegado (C-MORE), who will be discussing strategies and tips to engage and empower members of underrepresented groups in their pursuit of education and/or careers in STEM and STEM research. These skills not only help us be better members of the science community, but will also aid our success in securing funding, as many funding sources require or encourage training members of underrepresented groups. Lunch will be provided to the first 25 registrants with vegan, vegetarian, and omnivore options (caterer TBD) with support from the Student Activity and Program Fee Board. Register for the luncheon at https://goo.gl/forms/kMIWnuPsP5hyH8mn2.
