"Day of Resistance" Teach-In
January 20, 12:00pm - 2:30pmMānoa Campus, Campus Center Courtyard
Join us at the Campus Center Courtyard on Inauguration Day, Friday, January 20, to learn about the impact President-Elect Donald J. Trump's promised initiatives will have. Approximately a dozen speakers from campus and the community will address fascism, climate change, racism, Islamophobia, misogyny, the economy, civil liberties, and more. The event will feature protest songs, drumming, and crucial information so bring your classes to the teach-in!
Students, encourage your instructors to bring your classes! Everyone else is welcome, not just UH folks! On the morning of January 20, there will be additional public lectures, workshops, and other activities on campus. The teach-in will be followed by an afternoon march to Waikiki. See website
