Lyon Arboretum Spring Plant Sale

Come celebrate spring at UH Mānoa’s Lyon Arboretum Spring Plant Sale on Saturday, April 8, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the arboretum, 3860 Mānoa Road. Admission is free.

The various nurseries attending the sale will be selling colorful ti varieties, Hawaiian plants including native ferns, fruit trees, anthuriums, orchids, heliconias, gingers, succulents, tillandsias and other bromeliads, carnivorous plants, herbs, vegetables, and many other plants for homes and gardens.

Arboretum volunteers will sell jams and jellies made from local fruits as well as oshibana crafts, dried spring wreaths, lei (including haku lei), and leaf angels. Hawaiian honey will also be for sale.

A free shuttle service to the arboretum has pick-up and drop-off points at the intersections of Poʻelua Street and Mānoa Road, and Nipo Street and Mānoa Road.

Lyon Arboretum, located at 3860 Mānoa Road, is open Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. It is closed on Sundays and state holidays.

The Lyon Arboretum is a 193.5 acre rainforest botanical garden administered by the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa.
